Boston Marathon Video

Yesterday was the 113th running of The Boston Marathon.  Congratulations to all the runners!

I’ve been a part of hundreds of races, but Boston has been my favorite… the best fans and best organization ever.  Last year at this time, I was running to raise money for LIVESTRONG and The Lance Armstrong Foundation in honor of my sister Lea… and if you haven’t read that post from last year (or need a good excuse to cry) the link is here.

(Me… doing my very best impression of a Kenyan winning it all!)

The Lance Armstrong Foundation has had an incredibly productive year since we raised $20,000+ dollars for them, and months after the Marathon, I received a great email from Lance Armstrong and Doug Ulman who shared this fabulous video with me.  The Boston Marathon is always a source of inspiration… and it’s a reminder that we need to stay focused on being part of something that contributes to the greater good.  For us, we hope that there will be a cure for cancer in our lifetime.

There’s only 364 days left before the next running of The Boston Marathon.  Maybe this is your year?  Click on the logo below for some motivation!

Lea Morrison - Brian, as a 6’4″ man who was NEVER a runner (think great swimmer and hockey player) you pounded out 26.2 when I could barely walk up and down the aisles of Costco. Thank you for running last year. Thanks to all the other amazing runners who ran to CURE CANCER and with each step I believe we will.
    I love you Brian!
